This is an excellent climbing rope for the traditional climber who is not quite ready to take the big step to using thinner ropes. At 10.2mm The Beal Flyer is still not a large diameter, but is a good compromise between traditional ropes and the new breed of thinner rope. Flyer offers excellent handling qualities at a relatively light weight.
