Alan and Barbara Suttie
Owners
alan@cave-crag.co.uk		 Alan & Barbara Alan and Barbara have owned Cave and Crag since 1980. Both are active in the outdoors. Alan enjoys skiing, running and cycling and would like to spend more time climbing whilst Barbara enjoys walking and skiing. Both have vast knowledge of many outdoor activities and can advise on everything we sell from Climbing Equipment to Outdoor Footwear. Alan and Barbara's son, Andrew, is a keen and active climber. He regularly can be seen on routes in Wales among other places.



Martyn Thomas
Warehouse Despatch
martyn@three-peaks.co.uk		 Martyn Thomas Martyn is the warehouse king! He knows every inch of the building and ensures products are where they should be. There's not much about outdoor gear he doesn't know. Martyn is very active and enjoys cycling and walking his dog, Skye. He recently took a trip to the Himalayas where he paid a visit to the Everest Base Camp. Martyn is allergic to making hot drinks but does manage to drink plenty of them. Staff in the warehouse are equipped with ear plugs for when he is singing along to his favourite Led Zepp. Cool music but he shouldn't give up his day job!



Nicki Prince
Online Marketing
nicki@cave-crag.co.uk		 Nicki & Shady Nicki works on all things online, updating the websites, adding new products and ensuring that product info is kept up to date. A self confessed computer geek, she enjoys working on the website to make it interesting for visitors and creates the regular Cave and Crag Newsletter. Nicki is an animal lover and started horse riding at just 3 years old. Her dog, Shady, is a regular in the office. We are in the process of converting Nicki into an outdoors life but as yet have not managed to persuade her to go on a mountaineering course...not yet!



Alan Hughes
Warehouse Dispatch		 Alan Hughes Alan works alongside Martyn picking and packing orders in the warehouse. 'Big Al' is very laid back and loves his music (the rest of us don't). We are regularly serenaded in Welsh which makes good use of our earplugs! Al enjoys not spending money, cycling and walking. His real passion is Mazda sports cars and he is a frequent visitor to the Scottish Highlands and Islands as well as the East Coast. This year he is looking forward to a cycling tour of the Yorkshire Dales.



Alison Fawcett
Admin Assistant
alison@cave-crag.co.uk		 Alison Alison will probably be your first point of contact on the phone. Based in the office through the week, Alison deals with most of the routine admin and works in the shop one day a week. Alison likes to get out to local spots to see how they change throughout the seasons as well as getting away to bigger hills when time allows. Favourite spots include the Dales, Peak District, the Lakes and Scotland with the odd summer spent in the Alps. Alison has spent time caving and orienteering and for the summer would like to get back on her bike and start cycling in to work.



Kathryn Thwaite
Shop Assistant		 Kathryn Kathryn has been with Cave and Crag for a number of years and through working in the shop has acquired a vast knowledge of all our products. Having attended a Winter Skills Course at Glencoe, Kathryn has gained the skills to venture into the mountains with confidence. She supports Burnley and often spends a freezing cold Saturday following her team. Other interests include walking with favourite places being the Dales, the Lakes and the North York Moors. Having acquired the travelling bug, recent trips include Australia, New Zealand and Canada. When time (and good weather) allow Kathryn also enjoys playing tennis and mountain biking.



Dave Greaves
Warehouse/Shop Assistant		 Dave Greaves Dave works in both the warehouse processing and packing orders and in the shop assisting customers. His spare time is spent hill walking and backpacking with his favourite places being the Lake District and Scottish Highlands. Dave enjoys skiing and travel and has visited Asia numerous times. He enjoys good food and fine beer and in his own words 'needs to do more cycling'! Being into music in a big way, Dave loves to see Rock and Indie bands live. After completing a Mountaineering Skills course in North Wales, he got the climbing bug and plans to develop his climbing skills further in the future.
