Covering 325 km of mountain and valley, traversing Switzerland from east to west. From Sargans on the borders of Leichtenstein, to Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva, it covers 16 passes, each with its own special attributes and spectacular views.
The route is split into 15 stages which can be done as one long, hard walk, or split into two easier holidays making it suitable for all walkers. There are many alternative transport options along the way- cable cars, chair lifts and funiculars can be used in many places. Accomodation is plentiful.
