A 120km long distance footpath through Bavaria from Lake Starnberg to Castle Neuschwanstein, described in 5 stages.
The countryside is of rolling beauty, often dramatically impressive, and you pass a series of monastic churches of great architectural splendour which combine to give a long distance walk which has something special.
It is basically a lowland walk and isn't in any sense a challenge walk, but it is a cultural experience in a lovely part of Germany away from the popular tourist haunts.
