The Scarpa Nepal offers an exceptional level of luxury and quality in a 3 season walking boot, suited to year-round use in all but serious winter conditions. The Nepal is especially suited to adventurers trekking in warm conditions owing to the high level of breatability given by the superb quality Nubuck leather upper.

The upper has an ergonomic flex zone to give better flexibility at the ankle, and is half leather lined for added comfort. There is also a substantial rubber rand for protection against abrasion etc.

The sole unit is built by Vibram and is their ' Megan' unit featuring a combination PU/EVA wedge for lightness and shock absorption, combined with exceptional stability.

To keep your scarpa Nepal boots waterproof and in good condition, we recommend the regular use of Nikwax Nubuk and Suede proofing.

  'GREAT 3 SEASON BOOT'
Strengths: *Great protective rand *High quality leather liner *Chunky sole pattern *High cut is supportive
Weaknesses: *Not the lightest of boots *Must proof regularly due to lack of gtx liner
Overall: I do most of my walking bog-hopping in the peaks so it was a bit of a gamble going for an unlined boot. I'm glad to say these boots have stood up to everything I've thrown at them. I've walked for miles in ankle deep bogs, climbed waterfalls and crossed streams and these boots haven't let a drop of water in. The rand is fantastic for scrambling and protective on scree. A great looking boot too. My first choice boot in all but the most wintry conditions.
