'THE BEST TENT FOR THE COST ON THE MARKET!' |
|
| Strengths: |
Lightweight, storm resistent, roomy for one, amazingly quick to erect, cost, porch (big enought to cook in if you have balls enough to risk tent fire although the fabric is fire retardent!), totally reliable - actually comes with spares and repair kit (although you wont need them)!! |
| Weaknesses: |
A bit cosey when sleeping two - definitely only share with partner or very best friend! Will not withstand the worst winds. Porch is too small for two peoples gear, only big enough for one decent sized bergen.
NOTE: PROBLEMS WITH RIDGE POLE FLIPPING INTO THE TENT CAN BE EASILY AVOIDED BY SETTING UP AND ERRECTING PROPERLY! |
| Overall: |
An amazing tent for the money. I bought it as a replacement for my Tadpole 23 which i managed to loose up in the mountains (not a good day out!). I wasn't expecting this tent to out-perform the tadpole, but it did! Its just an amazing little tent. As much at home up a craggy mountain in the lakes as it is in a small backgarden in Birmingham. Would rather have the tadpole in force 10 storms, but for the majority of camping in England and Wales this tent will do you whatever the weather! |
