Raichle 60 Degree

Only £150.00
Raichle 60 Degree
Size 11 (UK) - £150.00 inc. VAT
The 60 Degree from Raichle is a 4 season boot suitable for mountaineering use. It is stiff enough to use with a crampon such as the Grivel G10 or G12 with a New-Matic binding, yet retains some flexibility so that walking is comfortable.

A great boot for Scotland or the Lakes in winter, and for summer Alpine trips.
  • Upper 3mm reversed leather.
  • Antibacterial textile lining.
  • ATD tongue with separate high cut water flap
  • Vibram Icetrek rubber sole with PU shock absorbtion wedge.
  • High cut rubber rand.
  • Crampon compatible

Weight: 1951gr.
Colour:--- Graphite.

To keep your Raichle 60 Degree boots in good condition, we recommend the use of Nikwax Aqueous proofing. (This proofing is effective, but may change the finish of the leather upper)

  'GOOD DECENT BOOT'
Strengths: Comfortable as all Raichle are. High rand, Decent Ankle support
Weaknesses: Tread is far too aggressive for soft powder snow, it balls up very very easily. Feel big and bulky.
Overall: I've worn these for about 4 months, in every condition apart from hot sunny days. So far i've been pretty happy with them. I suspect they'll wear very quickly like every other pair of raichles i've had, (these are my 8th pair). i was hoping to use these for winter walking instead of my DegreeLites as they were fairly stiff but they have broken in quite quickly and now feel a bit soft. However they have been comfortable thou i notice the cold in them as they are the first non goretex boot i've had for quite a while, thou they now come with a linning. Overall Very Good.
