  'SUPERB BOOT'
Strengths: Lightwieght for leather, and totally comfortable day in day out, excellent hardwearing gortex liner as well keeps feet dry provided you have good gaiters due to low ankle.
Weaknesses: Leather wears out quickly and cracks if subjected to high level rocky hill routes ie certain scottish munros as i have used them for!
Overall: Perfect for lower level, moorland, hill tracks-which is what they are designed for, but I have used them much higher without significant problems but both the uppers and sole will wear out quickly. I am currently after another pair but try getting a pair of 11 and a half nigh impossible so they must be selling well or i've just got big feet! Had my last pair ten years,with plenty of hard pounding, so I've has my moneys worth.
