The socks to wear when winter or Alpine climbing.
These socks are designed for scaling the world's highest peaks. Features include ball and heel padding, shin, ankle and lace pads, and an all wool toe section.
The mountain climbing is longer than the Trekking and Hiking KX to make allowance for the fact that Alpine and high mountain boots are higher at the ankle.
The ball and heel areas have high density padding for protection against shock, impact, abrasion and blisters. The instep, overtoe, shin, ankles, and arch areas have medium density padding. The arch support is of Spandex for a comfortable and positive fit.
Fabric content:--- 60% Worsted wool, 27% Thor-lon Acrylic, 11% Stretch nylon, 2% Spandex.
