Not a hard case, so not bomb-proof
No secure mounting system.
The velcro weakens with age, and can be accidentally opened, leading to possible loss of compass. |

It does what it does, but is long overdue a revamp
If you must use one, treat it with care, secure it to your kit with a carabiner, and secure the compass to the carabiner as well, otherwise it could disappear. |
