The Taurus Ultralight gives a good compromise between very light weight and space in the inner tent. So the design is very similar to the Hogan Ultralight. You gain extra sleeping room for only a little increase in weight.

  'SPACIOUS & LIGHT'
Strengths: Lots of room for one person plus gear plus large long-haired border collie. Very Light. Really easy & quick to pitch & take down. A nice green colour. Porch.
Weaknesses: As stated a few times above, stability in strong winds can be a bit of a problem.
Overall: I bought this & its first use was a pitch in the dark at Sligachan on Skye during an autumn storm. The long ridge pole flexed & kept turning inward so I slept in my friend's car. Having said that, the main body of the tent stayed up (and I kept my gear in there) and many other tents were completely destroyed (and lef behind) at the campsite come morning. Since then I have had no problems & am better at getting the tension right. There is enough room for a man & dog to fit (my collie could stand upright & stretch) with all your gear. I researched a lot of light weights tents since I bought this, looking to upgrade, & have decided to stick with it. Weight to space I couldn't find a better tent.
