The Garmin eTrex takes all the best features of 12 parallel channel GPS and puts them in a neat package that is only 112 x 51 x 30 mm so it will literally fit into the palm of your hand.

The Garmin eTrex may be compact, but it is definately a fully functional GPS unit. All control buttons are located on the sides of the unit allowing for simple one-handed operation.

Thanks to its bright yellow case the eTrex will be hard to misplace and easy to find in your boat or rucsack. The unit is waterproof, so it can take an accidental splash or dunk in the water and still continue to perform.

  'SUPERB VALUE'
Strengths: A magnificient unit. Cheap and thoroughly practical. Fun to use, and fascinating to"Play with"
Weaknesses: Battery drain.
Overall: Could be a life saver on Great Whernside or the Carmarthen Fans, and so cheap!
