Perfect for mountain marathons and lightweight adventures. The Vango Ultralite 100 Tent is very stable for its weight, so you can go to higher, wilder places and fit more hills into your weekend.
  • TBS PRO, which is a lightweight tension band system that ensures the tent performs in adverse conditions, especially in high winds.
  • Pitches 'as one' which allows you to set it up easily - ideal for when the weather gets bad.
  • Seam taped flysheet & groundsheet give long lasting protection from the elements.
  • Powerflex 7001-T6 alloy poles which combine strength & precision with flexibility to give the best resistance to bad weather.
  • Variable airflow ventilation which helps to reduce the build-up of condensation.
  • Bathtub inner groundsheet which gives you total climate protection and prevents insects crawling in.
  • Guying fillet on the 200 which gives extra storage space for essential kit, acts as protection for the large vent and can be used as a cooking area in bad weather.

  'GOOD FOR SINGLE-NIGHTERS IN DRIER CONDITIONS'
Strengths: lightweight small pack size easy to pitch slealthy in dark green small footprint, can be pitched in places other tents wouldn't fit well-made with quality materials ability to sit upright in middle reasonably priced
Weaknesses: lacks a porch door can't be left open in rain without letting in water high condensation build up at times can be a bit draughty due to the venting system (which is best left fully open to minimise condensation). not for claustrophobes
Overall: I've had my vango ultralite 100 tent for a year now and used it for over a dozen single overnight camping trips in my locale. because the door cannot left open in the rain this tent is perhaps better suited to drier conditions. condensation has ranged from bad enough to dampen the foot of my sleeping bag (when i experimented to find out what effect closing the top vents off would have) to none at all, depending on contitions. i wouldn't recommend the ultralite 100 as your only one man tent but i've found it makes a great wee second tent for better weather, when you may want to lighten your load and perhaps save a bit of uneccessary wear and tear on your more expensive model.
