The Mountain Equipment Annapurna Down Jacket is still on expedition service 35 years after it was first produced. A true classic.

After more than 30 years and hundreds of expeditions, the Annapurna remains firmly established as our premier off the shelf jacket for exploration of the greater ranges and polar regions.
  • Drilite Loft® outer; totally windproof, highly water resistant and offers full protection in all but driving rain
  • 420g (size L) of 90% pure down offering 600+ fill power
  • Synthetic wadding on the shoulders to withstand the compressing action of rucksack shoulder straps
  • Full box wall construction throughout ensures an even spread of down for total insulation ensuring no cold spots
  • The zip off hood with Velcro volume adjuster provides excellent protection from the weather; reinforced peak and wrap around closure for brilliant insulation
  • Patented EXL® system incorporated in the hood and the back of the jacket maximises the loft and therefore the warmth
  • NEW double synthetic Gemini baffle behind main zip eliminates any cold spots and keeps the warmth in
  • NEW inner Halo neck baffle is another new development to stop any warmth escaping
  • The cut of the jacket incorporates articulated elbows and a drop tail giving the wearer maximum freedom of movement and protection
  • 2 large fleece lined lower pockets, with slim reversed zips for increased protection from the weather
  • 2 large external chest pockets allows entry to stored items without releasing valuable built up heat
  • 1 large internal zipped mesh pocket to hold anything from a water bladder to your gloves
  • 1 internal mesh water bottle holder to prevent your water supply from freezing up
  • NEW drawcord capture points at the hem to prevent snagging
  • Adjust the cuff size perfectly to your wrist with the laminated tab
  • Packs away into stuffsac (provided)
